Tick habitats are expanding across North America but many still believe ticks are only found in wooded areas and other places far from home. But due to climate change and other factors, ticks can now be found in the local park, the soccer field and even in your own backyard. OFF! needed to spread awareness and - most importantly - educate people so they can keep their family safe while they enjoy the outdoor occasions they love (that ticks love too).

Key visuals showcasing the outdoor occasions where ticks are now more commonly found were created to educate shoppers in retail environments. Placement in adjacent departments allow OFF! to be top of mind when shoppers are preparing for gardening, camping, yard work, walking the dog, soccer tournaments, fishing or even backyard entertainment.

The familiar location pin becomes the OFF! Tick Location Pin to serve as a reminder of how close ticks really are.
This instantly recognizable pin is a handy visual to be used across global markets in everything from OOH to social to retail activations.

To mark Lyme Disease Awareness Month in May, “Tick Talk” themed social posts aim to educate and encourage people to use OFF! to protect themselves
from the dangers of ticks and Lyme disease. Educational posts, contests and discounts drive engagement and provide a path to purchase.

A global Tick Defense toolkit was created to support other North American and European markets. The toolkit contains guidance on key visuals and creative executions along with overall messaging, art direction and design to support OFF’s global markets in adapting their own Tick Defense campaigns with consistency.
